The oasis of Huacachina is imaged on the 50 soles banknotes. After a bad night in Huacachina (too noisy with music, dogs barking and taxis klaxonning), we got a disgusting and very expansive breakfast at the restaurant Moroni with hair in the butter and insect legs in the jam. Therefore we had a close look at the eggs and the orange juice (with stuff floatting at the bottom) and we had troubles to digest. Happy to leave this too touristic place, we took the bus to Nasca.
Arrivee a Nasca, les lignes sont representees partout.
Arrival in Nasca, the lines are everywhere.
We have visited a museum presenting the excavations of an Italian team (Dario says: Forza Italia) on Nasca and Paracas cultures. This time there are pictures: mummies, deformed skulls, ceramics and young peacocks (OK it is not the subject, but there was no dog alignment...). In the evening, there was a sho about the Nasca lines in the planetarium of the hotel where Maria Reiche finished her life (the German women who studied and protected the lines for 40 years).
Trop cool les photos de cranes deformes ! C'etait donc bien des extra-terrestres...
