Quito

De nouveau a Quito pour la fin du tour. Dimanche, nous decidons d'aller aux thermes de Papallacta pour la journee. Lundi nous visitons le jardin botanique le matin (fougeres arborescentes, papillons et orchidees au programme) et partons a l'aeroport l'apres-midi (d'ou on peut envoyer des crevettes equatoriennes partout dans le monde, mais on n'a pas essaye car on a eu peur des odeurs). Tout se passe bien dans le vol de retour a Lima. Par contre, notre vol LAN a destination de Santiago est annule (mieux vaut eviter les vols de cette compagnie apres minuit, nous avons eu le meme probleme a Madrid) car le pilote est malade. Nous passons la nuit au Radisson (pas terrible) et prenons un vol  en Business tot le lendemain (petit dej a choix et siege horizontal).
Back to Quito for the end of the tour. On Sunday we decide to go to the Papallecta thermal bath for the day. On Monday morning we visit the Botanical Garden (tree-ferns, butterflies and orchids) and go to the airport (from where you can send Ecuadorian shrimps everywhere in the world, but we did not try because we were afraid of the smell) in the afternoon. Everything goes well for the return flight to Lima. However, the LAN flight to Santiago is canceled because the pilote is sick (LAN flights around midnight seem to be cursed, we got the same problem in Madrid...). We have a night at the Radisson (not tremendously comfortable) and get Business seats early in the next morning (huge choice of breakfast and horizontal seat).
